Refugees and Germans celebrate Christmas together

On Wednesday, 14th December 2016, the initiative «Welcome in Gransee» and the Women Circle Oberhavel Nord invited for a joint Christmas celebration at Hospital Global. 60 to 70 people from Gransee took part.

The preparation of the celebration started already at 2 pm the baking of traditional christmas cookies where children and adults were busy helping.

Then at 4 pm was the Christmas celebration started with the song «Snowflake...». Hot drinks and the homemade cookies pleased everybody. Later Santa Claus came over to distribute christmas presents to the 30 foreign and German children.

Haniyeh from Iran who played the piano and Jens Seidenfad who had rehearsed a small performance with some kids, provided the musical entertainment.
